Models for work integration

One of the missions of the Finnish Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises is to promote the employment of individuals who are in a vulnerable position in the labour market. To achieve this, we collect, evaluate, and disseminate good practices and models related to employment and work integration. We collect models both from Finland and across Europe.

The aim of the website collecting and presenting employment models is to encourage actors in the field of work integration to make use of previously developed models and to further refine them. Our experts have evaluated the models, prepared their descriptions, and selected them for the website based on criteria such as employment impact, innovativeness, and scalability.

From this link, you will find a collection of evaluated models that you can filter by theme using the buttons. The themes and descriptions are in Finnish, but you can translate the content into English using a browser translation extension.

Based on the observations of our evaluation work and research literature, these themes are key factors in promoting employment:

  • Collaboration
  • Individual coaching, guidance and support
  • Competence and skills development
  • Strengthening functional capacity
  • Employer collaboration
  • Inclusion

Do you have a good model for supporting employment and work integration?

You can submit suggestions of effective employment models for evaluation through this form.
