THE PURPOSE OF THE REGISTER
Personal data is processed for the purposes of communicating and marketing the activities of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises, developing the Centre’s activities, organising events, recruiting members, and informing members about the activities of the Centre.
Personal data is also processed to facilitate communication between the stakeholders of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises (based on consent).
THE DATA CONTENT OF THE REGISTER
The registers of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises collect the following data by subgroup:
Subscribers to the newsletter of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises:
Basic information, such as first name, last name, title/position, company, municipality where the company is located
Email address
Those registered as social enterprises:
The first and last name, position in the company, telephone number and email address of the persons made known by the company itself (CEO, CCO, etc.).
Stakeholder register of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises:
Basic information, such as first name, last name, title/position, company, municipality where the company is located
Email address
Website analytics of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises
The following information on the users of the www.yyo.fi website: source of access, browsing device (mobile/desktop), geographical location of the browser (at country level), links clicked on by the user, time spent on the site, time of day of browsing, whether the user has visited the site before.
All groups: Self-reported information on food allergies in relation to the organisation of events.
REGULAR SOURCES OF DATA
Information provided by newsletter subscribers themselves on the subscription form, open online sources, such as companies’ own websites, partners and stakeholders. Persons who have registered for the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises’ events on the Centre’s website and the contact details provided at the time of registration. Communication with the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises’ personnel, such as emails, phone calls, meetings, business cards, and social media communication. Companies and public authorities providing services concerning personal data.
REGULAR DISCLOSURE AND TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION OR THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA
Data may be transferred or disclosed within the framework of the Personal Data Act between the various functions and systems of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises or to subcontracted companies producing marketing communication services and the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises’ events. The Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises ensures that contracts and processing instructions given to its service providers and partners are properly prepared and that liability issues are taken into account.
The register data shall not be disclosed to external parties for purposes other than those related to the activities of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises.
In specific cases, data may be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area with the consent of the individual for support purposes related to the activities of the Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises, for example, to the United States.
PROTECTION AND STORAGE OF THE REGISTER
All personal data is stored in an environment with physical and technical security measures in place to prevent access by third parties. Each user of the system has a personal ID and password to access restricted information on a specific network. The processing does not involve automated decision-making or profiling.
THE RIGHT TO INSPECT AND RECTIFY REGISTER DATA
The data subject has the right to check what information has been collected of them in the register. The request to inspect the data must be made in writing to the data controller (info@yyo.fi). The data subject has the right to have incorrectly registered data rectified. The data subject has the right to request the removal of their data from the register.
